Participating in Things.
Hey there friends. Still going to keep trying with posting more often. Trying!
SO. Also, I'm participating in things. Here are some of the things:
I wrote a double drabble, along with many other fabulous people, at![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
hp_halloween. The drabbles all posted today, and I've really enjoyed reading as many as I could, and I shall read more. You must go and read Samhain Warmth by ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
islandsmoke, which is my lovely, snarky, loving Snupin gift from Smoke. Yay! I wrote about Filch (I did! Here it is: Enough) for magnetic_pole which was really fun and made me think about an entirely different character. This fest is so easy-going, full of great ideas, and easy to support- reading and commenting takes almost no time, and there is much bang for your buck, mostly no pun intended.
I am also officially writing for two fests: Kinky Kristmas and Snupin Santa. I got a inspired by a prompt at Snusa, which was such a good feeling (it's been a while...) and feel like that one will be a real treat to write. KK is a bit more of a stretch for me, but I have a good idea there as well. Now I just have to make time for myself to indulge in some steady writing in November. It ain't nanowrimo level, but compared to the zero words I've written most of the past 3 years, November is going to be a massive writing month!
Meanwhile, inside my head, a giant, impossible, big fat Torchwood fic has been formulating and gestating throughout my commutes to and from school every day. Will it ever come out of my head and into the world? Will I just talk through dialogue to myself until I forget myself and start spouting Jack/Ianto scenes during a staff meeting? Who knows?? Stay tuned...;)

I can't tell you how much I want to write this giant Torchwood thing, but I'm not sure I have the endurance or time anymore. I'll keep plotting it out in my head and see what happens...

I am also toe-dipping. I am doing decently well in RL, just busy like a crazy-woman and therefore a pretty poor fandom participant, beyond creepy lurking. :) Do you want to write? Seems like a good time of year, with all the fests and such starting up. I'm committing so that I HAVE TO, which means I'll make the time free up in my crazy life.

How are you doing now? I hope that things are still going well in RL, and that you've managed to get some writing done, and are happy! <3
I really want to write - I have been telling myself for months now that I should do NaNo this year - I've sent alarms on my phone to block off an hour for writing each night - but woe, there always seems to be something. I know it's never going to get better, so I just need to get better at being organized and managing my time and all. Hopefully it will happen this year.... :D
Anyhow, I am sorry that I have been awol, and such a rubbish friend! I hope that you are doing well! xoxo
