I don't kid. celandineb wrote this wonderful, surreal, dream-like ficlet a few days ago, and it made me want to paint a surreal, dream-like painting. So I did. Read Cel's fic first.
Warnings for dark and surreal and non-typical fanart, but otherwise safe.

I also zoomed in on the Tom/Harry detail.



This was painted with oil, and therefore could not be scanned, only photographed, so sorry about the quality. This still possibly a work in progress, as I'm not thrilled with all of it, but for now, here it is. Enjoy the weirdness.

Wow. OMG, this is so beautiful. I really don't have words... I had no idea you could paint and do artsy things like this, and omg, it's so fantastic.

Thanks so much, Lyv! Yay! I love to paint, but have rarely have the chance or motivation to in recent years- just one more reason I love lj! Suddenly I'm painting again. :-)
