Warning: The following set-up will lead to ridiculous crack. I hope.
Written forgingertart50 and blpaintchart, my comrades in all things WTF. ;P We are not over flying Snape, and never will be. Neither will Remus, but he is trying. All right, ladies, take it away! What happens next?
“No. Never.” Severus shoved the box back towards Remus, nostrils flaring, jaw clenched, face flushed.
Remus grinned. “Aw, please Severus. It will be hysterical. You’ll be a huge hit at the Weasley’s Halloween party.”
“I have no interest in being a ‘hit’, Lupin. You know that.”
“I just thought maybe, now that…?
“No.”
Remus lifted the blue and red spandex costume from the gift box. The red cape draped onto the floor. Just looking at it made Remus laugh. “Please, Severus! There must be something I can do to convince you.”
Severus eyed the “S” emblazoned across the chest of the costume. “No.”
“You flying into the Burrow, wearing this…” he laughed again, unable to contain his glee at the thought. “It would be perfect! ‘Up in the sky, it’s a bird, it’s a plane…’” He snorted again, while Severus glared. “I’d do it myself, but I can’t fucking fly, Severus. That is your specialty.”
“No.”
Remus sat back, considering. “Tell you what. Let’s make a bet. If I win, you'll do it. If you win, you can make me do something I really don’t want to do. Anything.”
Severus’s eyebrow crooked. “Anything?”
Remus knew he had him.
“Anything.”
“Very well.” Severus crossed his arms and leaned back in his chair. “What is the bet?”
