So, the reality of being back at work and trying to keep up with all goings-on around here, not to mention regular RL, is settling in. The SO is going to smash this laptop to the ground soon if I don't look up from the screen soon. *must balance time better*

Anyway, I have had a great week of writing productivity so far. I completed five teeny-fics, all but one involving a new pairing and many new characters for me! Yippee!

Pillowcase Remus/Severus/Sirius. Threesome!
This Infernal Machine Severus/Harry
Cold Stars Albus/Gellert
Starched Sheets Percy/Harry
Superman Remus/Severus, which is the first part of what turned into the further adventures of the WTF! Flying Snupin Mile-High Club. Hooray for the crack!

In related pimping news, [livejournal.com profile] blpaintchart wrote an alternative continuation for my initial Superman teeny-fic here, complete with a hy-sterical hedgehog illustration. I hope we can continue that thread as well! *mwah*

I have been reading the Harry Potter Random Facts Fest with glee. Go check it out. Luna (this one has me particularly fascinated) by [livejournal.com profile] elfwreck, Charlie by [livejournal.com profile] florahart, Regulus by [livejournal.com profile] m_steelgrave, Remus by [livejournal.com profile] snegurochka_lee, Snape's Portrait (yes!) by [livejournal.com profile] florahart...and so many more. They truly are all very creative and inspiring, building deep characterizations in brief glimpses. I have about twelve bunnies hopping around my brain from each one. And I do love numbered lists.

Now I just need to write four Snupin-y fics in the next two months. Not so bad, right? Only four...assuming nothing else cries out to be written. *worried frown* Hmm...

That's it. Let's look at a Nadal!Krum icon in honor of the US Open last week, even though the mousy boy lost in the 4th round. (sorry, Chart, for the tennis mention). Mmm...Nadal!Krum...

*hugs flist and goes to eat dinner*

It really is hard to balance computer time with real life. I love being on my computer - in the chat room, reading, writing... but when my roommate starts to notice that I'm on it constantly, I do try to step back from it a bit. It's hard! But it's not everything. :)

I think part of my problem is wanting to do everything. I want to read books (which, I couldn't finish Fall of the Kings and I feel bad about that, but I'm not sure I can bring myself to finish it...), I want to crochet, I want to watch tv when the new season starts, and I want to write and read and being involved in fandom. It's quite the balancing act...
