In the interest of consistency and bookkeeping, I'm posting a link here to yet another In the Flesh fic! Only the first chapter posted so far, but it can stand alone if you want your heart crushed.
Title: To Fight His Corner
Author:
westernredcedar
Summary: When her son is nine years old, Sue Walker thinks for the first time my Kieren is different from the other boys.
Rated: PG-13 so far, probably will stay so
Pairings: Rick/Kieren so far, Simon/Kieren later (you know, canon)
Tags/Warnings: Sue Walker POV, Walker Family, Macy Family, canon character death, so much angst
More notes and such are at the fic over on Ao3. I'm going to try and finish it by this weekend for saveintheflesh Sunday.
Still need at ITF icon, jeez. *hugs*

Date: 27 Aug 2014 05:23 pm (UTC)Have you seen this post on Sherlockology? They love ITF so much that they stretched a tenuous connections between Luke Newberry's small role in ASIB (the Geek Interpreter kid?) to pimp ITF on their site.

What a great article, with links to handy things like scripts which you might find useful.

Date: 28 Aug 2014 01:26 am (UTC)I've read many of the scripts on the BBC site. They are great, so much detail, and you can catch any lines missed due to accent, etc. I've fact checked using them, too. I just really like the style they are written in, very casual and informative.
I'm going to try and power out the next two parts of this fic in a week or so, if you want to wait and read it all at once. I'm about to go back to work and that is always hell on my writing time. Boo.
*hug*
