Anyone still here? Hello!!! *waves madly*
So, I wrote a fic. It's a Sherlock fic and it helped me realize how out of practice I am with writing, but nonetheless, I posted the thing over at AO3.
Title: Box Score
Author: westernredcedar
Summary: "What are we looking for at a baseball game exactly?”
Sherlock sips his coffee. “Clues."
“Yes, thank you, Poirot.”
Fandom: BBC Sherlock
Rated: R
Pairing: Sherlock/John
Warnings: possible suicide mentioned, baseball, angst
Notes: This was written for the "Sports" prompt at sherlockchallenge over on tumblr. I meant to write a light-hearted ficlet about Sherlock becoming obsessed with baseball box scores (as he would), but then this happened instead.

Haa. How many times have I started to write something fluffy or sweet, but the gravitas seeps in? I get it. I'm glad the feels were inescapable, because otherwise you wouldn't be writing in the canon 'verse.

Date: 7 Dec 2016 03:26 am (UTC)A quick note to thank you again for recording "Double Happiness Masala" and "God of Things as They Ought to Be" lo these many years ago. I happened to pull the CD randomly out of a folder while driving from TN to NC tonight, and your lively, lusty, lovely readings got me through the last tough stretch.
*big grateful hugs*
