Okay, this is ridiculous.

I have low tolerance for heat, hence, I am a resident of the Pacific Northwest.
Where we have no air conditioning, because, why bother?
I cannot do 95+ degrees all week. I simply can't. You hear that, weather?? I CAN'T. *melts*
I'd go down to the local air-conditioned book store right now and sit there browsing, except that the idea of getting in my no-air-conditioningoven car to drive the three minutes sounds so horrific that I can hardly stand it.
What? I should go anyway? You are right. *tries to move*
I loathe the heat.
ETA: I'm not just whiny- apparently Wednesday might be the hottest day EVER here. Good grief.

Date: 6 Aug 2009 04:16 am (UTC)Actually, I've been away for a few days, and I hear things are much more bearable now, so I'm not worried about returning home.
Hot is fine if your city is prepared for it, but I heard one report that said 13% of Seattle homes have AC. We fail at hot. I can't wait for lovely autumn.
Also, *hugs*!! It just makes me happy to see you here!

Date: 6 Aug 2009 02:25 pm (UTC)We're still not terribly hot, but we're in the 80s now (unlike the 90s+ that is our usual August heat). Lots of rain too... can't wait to see what fall looks like! *g* I'm hoping for beautifully chill with leaves made gorgeous with all the rain...
